So this is the big page I've been building up to. Chester is shot - everything just went to hell. Is he dead? Stay tuned!
The page started as a rather simple sketch on paper, but it turned out so well. There's little things I could pick at, but generally, I'm really happy with it.
I want to emphasize something I think is very important for this comic, and for storytelling in general. It's not very interesting if your characters are never in danger. If you know your hero will save the day, it's not particularly exciting when he meets opposition. I don't want that. Neither Chester nor Jackson are super... wolves, and if someone shoots them, they go down fast and hard. This isn't a fairy tale.

Oh my lord I love the panel arrangement and use of composition in this page. Especially how he aims that gun in the second frame and those last two...but uhmmm...shit..he's gunna die>don't you do this. NO
